Update

My tummy is still very pink and sore!

I can't stop watching My Name is Earl.

I am thinking of starting up a petition banning building, lawnmowers, phone calls and general noise before 9am. Would you sign?

Sunbathing blues

It seems as though I have yet to get the hang of this sunbathing lark. I had my blanket it the garden; I had a massive bottle of water and I was all lotioned up!

However what I didn't take into account was that the sun makes me sleepy.....An hour later my cheeks are hot and my tummy is very pink and sore.

So, I guess I have an evening of aches, headaches and the chills to contend with.

But, I'm back. I'm back from the future.

Well well well. Thought you had gotten rid of me didn't you?! Well let me tell you its not that easy to get rid of me that easily (haha).

This year has been swell and this year has been hell. But anyway lets not dwell on that....

Let me tell you I thought I had experienced a lot but what I didn't realise is that I a vital experience missing. And that experience was a ride on the night train from London to southend (sarfend).

I wasn't particularly feeling great on my journey home granted (this of course was due to the dodgy cornish pasty I was eating not to the copious amount of alcohol that I had drunk this evening).

5 pretty standard looking 50 somethings sat on the seats beside me (despite there being pleanty of seats in the carriage at that point - maybe I have one of those faces). It didn't bode well when the only woman of the group actually fell into the carriage rather than stepping into it. Turns out that they were from Romford (again, not a great sign) and they had just been to the beer festival. They brought out of a bag a large bottle of fruit flavoured whisky and glasses. They offered me a glass but of course I had to decline due to the dodgy pasty. They then started singing que serra serra and encouraging me to sing along but of course I didn't want to shame my older friends with my fantastic voice so I declined their kind offer on this occasion.

This then prompted a group of girls to start singing I will survive further down the carriage. They got through the chorus until a very large and very scary looking man stood up and told them to shut up. The girls responded in a way that I never thought they would, with a phrase I never thought I would actually hear in real life........"Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough!" Who would have thought it eh?! Well this opened the flood gates you see. The man stood up and I honestly thought he was going to explode but instead he took a big breath in and then he started singing I will survive. Can you believe it! Well this then started a wave of excitement down in the carriage to the point where everyone started joining in!

This has to be one of the most strangest journeys I have had in a long time. End of.

Welcome home

OH MY GOD!!

It has been so long since I actually posted something here. So much has happened that I may have to give you the edited highlights:

1) Christmas - quite boring really. Slept. Ate. Drank. Ate some more. (also played with my presents notably heat manual and digital photoframe)

2) New year - everybody was ill. Got drunk on wine and champagne and spent the rest of the night trying to pretend to be sober.

3) Started back at school - it is too dark and cold in the mornings. Struggling to get out of bed before the time I have actually supposed to have left.

4) Won award for most ridiculous comments in one term - said that I am sick of sex after teaching sexual reproduction with three groups. Then making it worse by saying that I was only sick of having sex with year 7 not with year 12.

5) Mum was admitted with hospital - first time was scary but was resolved after a week and she was released.

6) Mum was re-admitted to hospital again - she caught a bacterial infection from her first visit. Now at home with bed rest but doing ok.

7) The car crash - stupid car crash where I banged my elbow again. It is at least getting me out of carrying textbooks!

8) Trying food - I must admit that I tried some seafood at the chinese as I am intrigued as I have never tried it.

9) Red ipod - sooooooooooooooo cool!

10) New phone and new ohone number

Well I think that is about it. I hope that you are all good and that you miss the hell out of me 'cause I miss you all :-)

Earmuffs!

I got an advent calender and a pair of earmuffs in the same weekend - how exciting is that?!!!! I am enjoying my earmuffs. They keep my ears toasty warm and they are pink and fluffy. I got a bell today on my advent calender and that was tasty. Is there something wrong with me that I am so excited about an advent calender and ear muffs??!! (On second thoughts, don't answer that). On Friday I went to London zoo which would have been even better if it hadn't have been raining.... I was a bit soggy!

Turning older is never fun

Why is that the lesson that you think will be crap is great and the lesson you think will be great is crap?? Just a question for you to ponder over.

Well, that is another week over and I have absolutely no plans for this weekend - it sucks! Can't believe how close we are getting to christmas now although I am most probably going to have to spend it with my parents who absolutely hate christmas so I think I would rather be somewhere else frankly. My sister is buggering off to New York. I wish I couldbugger off to somewhere too!

Big essex shout out to Cafferine! She has turned 44 tody and still looks every inch the 43 year old she once was (hehe). Seriously though have a fab time. Although I do suck because I didn't have time to get a proper present and the card is still in bag waiting to be posted (I am special I am!)

Anyhoo just though I would leave a quick note to let you know I am still alive!
